A LITTLE HISTORY... The Asterie boat was born following the disappearance of the famous Moppie from Bertram, which was very successful in the Gulf of Saint Tropez. To fill this "gap", Pascal VILLANOVA decided to create his own unit, incorporating all the qualities found in Bertram while adding his own touch and personal experience. The result is a simple, robust, and seaworthy boat with a convivial cockpit, while respecting the specifications required by a professional with a solid mechanical background. Everything inside is designed with a focus on quality and robustness. While the Asterie is primarily a Day Cruiser intended for daily outings, it has the merit of being equipped with a small cabin and a proper head compartment with a shower. The interior is fitted with several storage units, including cupboards and wardrobes, and features a fairly understated decoration that allows it to age well in a marine environment. EXTERIOR LAYOUT The essential part of this boat is located outside. First, it is accessed via a generous swim platform, which optionally features a superb recessed swim ladder with 4 telescopic rungs. After passing through a gate as solid as an armored door, the aft cockpit features a magnificent sunpad composed of 3 removable parts with headrests. This surface acts as an engine cover which, when raised using a hydraulic cylinder, reveals the vast engine room space.
